As part of DeveloAID’s commitment to fostering practical solutions in conflict resolution, we collaborated with DeepRoot Consulting to deliver a targeted capacity-building initiative in Yemen. This project focused on equipping local trainers with the knowledge and skills to facilitate conflict de-escalation in complex environments. Held in Aden, Yemen, the initiative aimed to address the unique challenges of conflict settings, fostering grassroots solutions and enhancing community resilience.
The coaching program brought together diverse trainers and stakeholders, including civic actors, local dignitaries, and members of civil society, to explore innovative strategies for de-escalating conflicts and preventing further escalation. The training utilized simulation exercises, stakeholder mapping, and mediation workshops to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
